WE ARE LOOKING FOR MAKERS, BAKERS, CREATORS ARTISTS AND SMALL SHOPS WHO MAKE AND SELL UNIQUE, QUALITY AND CREATIVE GOODS.

BEING BASIC REALLY ISN'T OUR STYLE SO AESTHETICS ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AT OUR MARKETS. WE LOVE MAKERS THAT CREATE FUN, UNIQUE AND BEAUTIFUL BOOTH SPACES THAT WILL HAVE US AND OUR SHOPPERS SWOONING. PRESENTATION IS EVERYTHING!

WHAT IS YOUR ATTENDANCE/TURNOUT AT EACH MARKET?

LIKE LIFE, MARKET ATTENDANCE IS COMPLETELY UNPREDICTABLE. TURNOUTS DEPEND ON A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT VARIABLES AND UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS JUST NO WAY TO GIVE A DEFINATE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION. WHAT WE CAN TELL YOU IS THAT WE ARE BIG ON PROMOTING OUR MARKETS THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA, POSTCARDS, FLYERS, POSTERS, COLLABS AND GOOD OL' WORD OF MOUTH TO ENCOURAGE SHOPPERS TO ATTEND. WE ALSO ENCOURAGE OUR PARTICIPATING VENDORS TO PROMOTE, PROMOTE, PROMOTE! IT ALWAYS HELPS TO HAVE YOUR FANS AND FOLLOWERS COME OUT AND SUPPORT YOU AND YOUR FELLOW MAKERS!


DO I NEED TO HAVE AN INSTAGRAM OR FACEBOOK PAGE TO PARTICPATE?

YES. YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE. WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE GOODS AND ITEMS THAT YOU PLAN ON SELLING AND IT'S ALSO VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU HAVE A WAY TO PROMOTE THE MARKET. WHAT MAKES OUR MARKET A SUCCESS IS THAT WE AND OUR PARTICPATING SHOPS WORK HARD TO PROMOTE THE EVENT AND GET THE WORD OUT ON SOCIAL MEDIA. 


SPACE DETAILS & SETUP INFO

EACH BOOTH SPACE AREA IS 8 FT. WIDE BY BY 4 FT. DEEP AND IS FOR A FREE-STANDING BOOTH. LARGER BOOTH SPACES MAY BE AVAILABLE ON A LIMITED BASIS AND WILL BE LISTED ON OUR VENDOR APPLICATION IF AVAILABLE.

WE WILL ONLY BE PROVIDING THE SPACE FOR YOUR BOOTH. IT IS REQUIRED THAT YOU BRING YOUR OWN FREE STANDING WALL/BACKDROP, TABLES, LINENS, CHAIRS, DISPLAYS, ETC. OUR SHOPPERS COME TO PLB EXPECTING AN INVITING AND UNIQUE SHOPPING EXPIERENCE SO DISPLAYING YOUR GOODS AND WARES ON A TABLE AND TABLECLOTH JUST WON'T DO. GET CREATIVE! BE BOLD! MAKE YOUR SPACE UNIQUE!

ELECTRICITY IS TYPICALLY NOT AVAILABLE TO INDIVIDUAL SPACES. IF YOU'D LIKE TO REQUEST ELECTRICITY PLEASE EMAIL US AT PENELOPELANEBOUTIQUE.INFO@YAHOO.COM TO CHECK IF WE'RE ABLE TO ACCOMODATE YOU. 

LOAD IN AND SET UP BEGINS 2 HOURS BEFORE THE MARKET OPENS. YOU MUST BE SET UP AND READY TO SELL ONCE WE OPEN OUR DOORS. AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE MARKET YOU WILL HAVE 1 HOUR TO BREAK DOWN AND LOAD OUT. ARRIVING LATE AND/OR BREAKING DOWN EARLY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.

*SHARING OF BOOTH SPACES IS NOT ALLOWED.


WHEN DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR MY SPACE?

VENDORS WHO APPLY FOR OUR MARKET WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL RESPONSE WITHIN 3-5 DAYS AFTER SUBMITTING THEIR COMPLETED APPLICATION. 

BOOTH SPACE FEES MUST BE PAID WITHIN 48 HOURS OF RECEIVING OUR ACCEPTANCE EMAIL. IF YOUR BOOTH SPACE FEE IS NOT PAID WITHIN THOSE 48 HOURS YOUR APPLICATION AND SPACE WILL BE FORFIETED. FEES WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED VIA PAYPAL OR VENMO. NO EXCEPTIONS. 

BOOTH SPACE FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. ONCE SUBMITTED AND RECEIVED, BOOTH SPACE FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDABLE, TRANSFERRABLE, NOR CREDITABLE FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER.


IF I APPLY WILL I BE GUARANTEED A SPACE?

UNFORTUNATELY NO. YOU WILL HAVE TO RECEIVE AN ACCEPTANCE EMAIL LETTING YOU KNOW YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED TO PARTICPATE.


WHY WASN'T MY APPLICATION APPROVED?

WE ARE A HIGHLY CURATED MARKET AND HAVE A CERTAIN AESTHETIC THAT OUR SHOPPERS HAVE COME TO EXPECT AND APPRECIATE. FOR THAT REASON THERE ARE TIMES WHEN WE HAVE TO MAKE DIFFICULT DECISIONS. IT'S ALSO IMPORTANT THAT WE OFFER A WIDE AND UNIQUE VARIETY OF GOODS AT OUR MARKETS SO WE WILL ALWAYS HAVE TO LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF VENDORS IN CERTAIN POPULAR AND COMPETITIVE GENRES. 


COLLECTING SALES AND SALES TAX

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO COLLECT MONEY FOR YOUR OWN SALES AND SALES TAX. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO ACCEPT A VARIETY OF PAYMENTS INCLUDING CASH, CREDIT CARDS, PAYPAL, VENMO AND ZELLE.


IF I HAVE TO CANCEL OR CAN'T PARTICPATE CAN I ROLLOVER MY BOOTH FEE TO ANOTHER MARKET DATE?

UNFORTUNATELY NO. BOOTH SPACE FEE ROLLOVERS WILL NO LONGER BE OFFERED AS AN OPTION.


REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

ALL BOOTH SPACE FEES AND PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, CREDITABLE OR TRANSFERRABLE FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. IF FOR ANY REASON THE MARKET HAS TO BE RESCHEDULED WE WILL OFFER (TO THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN APPROVED AND PAID) TWO ALTERNATIVE DATES TO CHOOSE FROM. HOWEVER, IF NEITHER OF THE ALTERNATIVE DATES WORK OUT FOR YOU, THEN YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR BOOTH SPACE FEE.
